==Effects==
A new leader can be chosen every 12 hours. This cooldown can be reduced with the Efficiency [[leader XP upgrade]] and with the [[Mango]] [[garden]] plant.

Whenever the chosen leader's conditions are met, its effect triggers, reducing the player's rescue cooldown and quest duration. The leader will also earn one [[leader XP]], with a maximum of 30 earnable leader XP per leader. [[Rice Cracker]] reduces cooldown and quest duration, but does not earn leader XP.

you can store up to 5 for the next rescue (theres a few ways to do this aside from fortune cookie)<br>

Upon reaching 5, 10, 20, and 30 Leader XP, Your leader levels up and their cooldown reducing abilities are stronger.

Whenever a leader is activated 100 times, a specific cosmetic is gained, unique to each leader. (The cosmetics can be seen on the last column in the Leaders table.)
