The player can become a terminal admin by entering the correct password into $ adminunlock. This is required to run certain commands, and to gain access to Garden.
Password pieces[edit | edit source]
Six password pieces are located throughout the terminal. Typing $ password_piece.txt when in a directory with a password piece will allow you to view it.
In order to make password pieces decently spread out, a few of the possible locations are grouped together. If multiple locations have the same group, only one of them can contain a password piece.[1]
Below is a list of all possible locations for password pieces, as well as their groups.

Entering the pieces in the correct order unlocks admin privileges, granting access to the commands $ dirwarp, $ nick, $ repaircmd and $ sudo.
Certain passwords prompt easter-egg responses, listed below.
