Cosmetics is a type of equippable much like relics. However, cosmetics do not have an equip cooldown. Cosmetics have purely cosmetic effects which do not affect gameplay.

There are a variety of cosmetics, obtained through achievements, secrets, or personally given out by Colon.

There are 2 types of cosmetics, non-special cosmetics and special cosmetics. At most 1 non-special cosmetic and 3 special cosmetics can be equipped. Only special cosmetics have special effects. The emoji of non-special cosmetics always overrides special cosmetics.

Every 15 non-trophy cosmetics you are able to equip one more cosmetic.

Below is a list of all cosmetics, alongside their unlock methods and effects.

Note: “Comment” refers to the line of text after receiving a given animal. This can be a quote, reference, or something similar. Multiple lines of comments implies that the comments for that animal are randomized.

	Non-Functional Token	A special collectible rewarded for obtaining 200 Zoo Tokens™ from a single rescue. It looks cool but has no use.	Obtain 200 Zoo Tokens™ from a single rescue. 	Torii	A miniature shrine gate that fits in your hand. Obtained by reaching 150 total leader XP.	Obtain 150 total leader XP.	Your animals seem to be getting along quite well with what most people consider monsters.
	Zookeeper Medal	A prestigious medal for those who have done everything. Obtained by reaching 100 goal tiers.	Claim Goal Reward #20.	So, what now?

	Artist Palette	A special palette rewarded to those who helped build and maintain Zoo-related art during an official r/place event. 	Disco Ball	A ball of pure hype that randomizes the embed color for most menus.	Use a Paintbrush and type 'rainbow' in the colour prompt.	Zoo 2: Now with full RGB support	Disco Zoo
	Ender Pearl	A very rare reward from rescues. You'd need some serious luck to get your hands on this.	Requires at least 2 Luck to obtain. Let L be the Luck. Chances of obtaining Ender Pearl when rescuing is 1/(250-50L), capped at 1/15.	You're my one in 7.5 trillion, darling~
	Game Breaker	Bestowed upon you for finding a major bug and breaking a certain fox boy on the way.	Discover a bug that Colon deems to be hard to find or slightly game-breaking. Personally given by Colon.	I destroyed the zoo economy and all I got was this lousy cosmetic

	Killer Rabbit	You broke it! Obtained by having less than 0 of an animal.	Obtained by rescuing with less than 0 of an animal.	What's he do, nibble your bum?		Unless a bug is found that allows this, it is currently unobtainable.
	Matryoshka	How deep does it go? Obtained by obtaining a matryoshka.	Recursively access the terminal from the $ zoo command from the terminal from the $ zoo command at least 7 layers deep. 	Polar Star	A special badge found deep in a rather sparkly sister bot. 	Time Saver	A mysterious clock from another time. It is no longer obtainable?	Press a button on a shop or mechanic command from RoboTop on a discord server, then use /zoo terminal timesaver when you unlock /zoo on RoboTop.	⏪ GO BACKWARDS		Before 12th August 2023, the cosmetic was obtained by running r!zoo terminal timesaver.cmd inside of Robotop when you had the terminal unlocked inside of the Zoo bot. If the cosmetic was unlocked this way, the profile would unlock the memento "Legacy Time Saver".
