Terminal

The terminal is a computer inside of the Zoo Bot. Inside the terminal are many secret commands. Jokes and nerdy references that you might get. These also include alternative games and also mechanics that help you out in the main game.

This page will be sorted by complicated commands first and then simple. Complicated commands will be found in a seperate page.

Simple Commands

$ 8ball [question]

• Consults the magic 8 ball to answer your questions.

Aliases: 8, 8b, eightball

Gives a random message when used.

$ button [press?]

• It's a button.

Counts up since it was first pushed. When pushed again the button resets back to zero.

$ countxp [amount]

• Counts XP??? Or something???

Says a unique message based on the number.

When /rank member:@zoo is run on Polaris. You'll see a special rank that shows a random number, a random cooldown and a fake error message. When you type the xp into $countxp you'll earn a special cosmetic called the Polarstar.

• Makes a cow say something

Makes the cow say a message. Defaults to "moo".

$ dunsparce [name 1], [name 2]

• Generates two dunsparces. May the longest one win!

Aliases: dun, dunce

Randomises the length of dunsparces from ~100cm to ~500cm and compares which one is bigger.

$ penguin [name or id?]

• Posts a random stock penguin. View notable penguins with $ penguin list

Aliases: peng

Posts an image of a penguin. If there isn't a name then it posts a random penguin.

Randomizes the percentage for a single argument from 0% to 101%.

Randomizes the splits the percentage between multiple arguments.

When a argument inside of brackets "()", your name gets replaced with the contents in the brackets.

• Pets RoboTurt :)

Aliases: pat

Pets roboturt in a server. The total amount of pets in a server is counted. There is a 1 hour cooldown between each pet.

$ pray

• Prays

Gains you the Praying Beads cosmetic. If you already have it you'll get a response praising someone or a thing.

$ random [args?]

• Generates every random thing you could possibly ask for

Gives you a few random things.

$ sisyphus

• One must simulate Sisyphus happy

A minigame that allows you to roll a boulder 1 meter up a hill every minute. However, there is a chance the boulder rolls back to the beginning instead.

A rescue is required before you can begin rolling the boulder again.

$ wanted

• Initiates the Wanted minigame. Can you find the highlighted animal in time?

Aliases: want

A minigame that makes you look for a specific animal and then type out the location. This minigame is time limited where if you reach 0 the game is over. This is based on a minigame in the Mario franchise.

Cards

$ give [name or id]/[card]/[amount?]

• Gives a card to another member.

Aliases: givecard

Gives a person a card. This is a one-way command and is not a trade.

$ inventory [page?]

• Lists the cards currently in your inventory.

Gives you a list of every single card you have.                                            

$ pull

• Pulls a trading card!

Aliases: card, pul

Pulls a card that varies from every common animal, rare animal and leaders. Leaders include special art from many different artists.

$ show [card]

• Shows off a card in your inventory.

Aliases: search, shc, showcard

Shows a card that you have. The amount of the cards is shown there.

Programs

$ defer

• Pauses your next auto-rescue or notification, and saves it for a future rescue.

This is not reversable

$ egg

• View your egg stats!

Shows how many eggs are in your inventory, How many eggs you have used, The total amount of eggs, Your most used egg, Your unique owned eggs & Egg facts. 

$ murphypoints [amount to spend?]

• Welcome to the Murphy Rewards Program! Earn loyalty points by upgrading items at the Mechanic, and exchange them for faster service!

Aliases: mpoints, mpts, murphypts

Earned by signing up to murphys rewards program. This allows you to earn murphy points by upgrading items. Each one point you spend will remove one minute from your upgrade duration.

• Highlights some of the beautiful weirdness of the trainwreck known as JavaScript

Shows weird javascript stuff.

$ vim

• Opens the VIM (VI IMproved) text editor

Traps you until you use the :q! command.

System

$ adminunlock [password]

• Unlocks admin privileges. Requires password

Gives you access to a few commands.

There are a total of 6 parts to the password:

1. The order (Gives the order of the other 5 parts)
2. Symbols (Random symbols)
3. Letters (Random letters)
4. Numbers (Random numbers)
5. Animal (Random animal from Zoo)
6. Leader (Random leader from Zoo)

$ nick [nickname?]

• Sets a nickname to use in place of your username. [requires admin]

Aliases: nickname, setnick

Sets your name to a nickname in every instance of a username.

$ cd [path]

• Changes the directory of the terminal. Use ".." to go back one directory, or "home" to return to the start. The current folder can be viewed with $ ls

Used to navigate the terminal

$ dirwarp

• Navigates to a random directory. [requires admin]

Moves you to a random directory

$ help [command?]

• Lists most terminal commands, or provides info on a specific one.

Shows the list of almost every terminal command and gives detailed information when a command is inputted

$ ls

• Lists all files in the current directory of the terminal. Use $ cd to change folders.

Aliases: dir, gci, pwd

Shows your current directory.

$ neofetch

• Displays system information. In style.

Shows information in a fancy code block

$ ping

•  Checks if the bot is alive and posts the response time. May not always be 100% accurate.

Shows the ping of the bot.

$ repaircmd [name]

• Attempts to repair any potentially broken or corrupted commands

• Rescue animals and build up your own personal zoo!

Can run any zoo command* with the old command structure like in Robotop

• Lists the animals required to reach your next zoo completion milestone

• Echoes back a message.

• Lists all your animals in a single embed

• Displays the last item you used

Shows you last used item

• Stuff your face with slices of cake until your cooldown is nearly finished

Consumes all of your Cake Slices until the cooldown is less than 15 minutes. Works with Frying Pan

$ testconnection

• Runs a connection test

Shows if the bot works

• Lists all your cooldowns and upcoming events

Shows all of your cooldowns and finished cooldowns
