Cosmetics

Cosmetics are a type of equippable much like relics, however without a cooldown, and with a purely cosmetic effect. These do not affect your gameplay.

There are a variety of Cosmetics, usually obtained through some sort of achievement or secret, or (in the case of Game Breaker, Game Obliterator and Artist Palette) personally given out by Colon.

Below is a list of all Cosmetics (aside from Trophies, explained below) alongside unlock methods and effects, as while most add an emoji in various places, some have additional special effects.

Note: “Comment” refers to the line of text after receiving a given animal. This can be a quote, reference, or similar. Multiple lines of comments mean that the comment for this animal is randomized.

	Cherry Blossom	A beautiful cherry blossom, grown organically by you!	Uproot a Cherry Blossom that’s been alive for at least a week.	sakura won't disappear	❀ Prettier garden ❀	Changes the header of the garden.
	Crown	Sparkly! Shiny! Perfect for showing off! Obtained by reaching 100% zoo completion.	Obtain 100% Zoo Completion. Granted upon the next rescue.	You dropped this	Royal rescue messages	Effect requires 100% to function.
	Funky Foxx	An ultra valuable one-of-a-kind Funky Foxx NFB! According to the foxchain, it's rightfully yours.	Have at least +20% Zoo Tokens™ per rescue of NFB Collector Bonus. 	Non-Functional Token	A special collectible rewarded for obtaining 200 Zoo Tokens™ from a single rescue. It looks cool but has no use.	Obtain 200 Zoo Tokens™ from a single rescue. 	Taco Shell	No matter how many times you eat this taco, the shell grows back. Obtained by consuming 100 hours worth of regular food items.	Reduce 100 hours of rescue cooldown using regular food items. Granted upon the next rescue.	Fresh from McDoodel's!	Stupid food
	Travel Journal	You've been everywhere! Obtained by finishing 250 days worth of quests.	Obtained by finishing 250 days worth of quests. Granted upon completing the next quest.	That’s cool and all but my Dad's been on a quest ever since I was a baby
	Torii	A miniature shrine gate that fits in your hand. Obtained by reaching 150 total leader XP.	Obtain 150 total leader XP.	Your animals seem to be getting along quite well with what most people consider monsters.
	Zookeeper Medal	A prestigious medal for those who have done everything. Obtained by reaching 100 goal tiers.	Claim Goal Reward #20.	So, what now?

	Artist Palette	A special palette rewarded to those who helped build and maintain Zoo-related art during an official r/place event. For each Reddit Place event that happened, there is a memento depending on if the person has participated in the 2022 and 2023 events.

	Cozy Bed	A comfy bed to rest in after successfully raising your rescue cooldown by 24 hours.	If the next rescue increases the rescue cooldown by at least 24 hours, Cozy Bed will be granted upon that rescue.	honk mimimimimimimi
	Disco Ball	A ball of pure hype that randomizes the embed color for most menus.	Use a Paintbrush and type 'rainbow' in the colour prompt.	Zoo 2: Now with full RGB support	Disco Zoo
	Ender Pearl	A very rare reward from rescues. You'd need some serious luck to get your hands on this.	Requires at least 2 Luck to obtain. Let L be the Luck. Chances of obtaining Ender Pearl when rescuing is 1/(250-50L), capped at 1/15.	You're my one in 7.5 trillion, darling~
	Game Breaker	Bestowed upon you for finding a major bug and breaking a certain fox boy on the way.	Discover a bug that Colon deems to be hard to find or slightly game-breaking. Personally given by Colon.	I destroyed the zoo economy and all I got was this lousy cosmetic
	Game Obliterator	Obtained by ruining everything.	Discover a bug that Colon deems to be extremely game-breaking. Personally given by Colon.	please stop
	Killer Rabbit	You broke it! Obtained by having less than 0 of an animal.	Obtained by rescuing with less than 0 of an animal using a bug.	What's he do, nibble your bum?		Unless a bug is found that allows this, it is currently unobtainable.
	Matryoshka	How deep does it go? Obtained by obtaining a matryoshka.	Recursively access the terminal from the $ zoo command from the terminal from the $ zoo command at least 7 layers deep. 	Polar Star	A special badge found deep in a rather sparkly sister bot. 	Time Saver	A mysterious clock from another time. It is no longer obtainable?	Press a button on a shop or mechanic command from RoboTop on a discord server, then use /zoo terminal timesaver when you unlock /zoo on RoboTop.	⏪ GO BACKWARDS		Before 12th August 2023, the cosmetic was obtained by running r!zoo terminal timesaver.cmd inside of Robotop when you had the terminal unlocked inside of the Zoo bot. If the cosmetic was unlocked this way, the profile would unlock the memento "Legacy Time Saver".
