Mechanic Cap is a relic.
Obtaining[edit | edit source]
Mechanic Cap is obtained by using the /mechanic command after waiting a total of 15 days (360 hours) for Mechanic upgrades.[1]
Effects[edit | edit source]
Allows the Mechanic to upgrade any item at any time, from the items menu. Items not in the Mechanic's daily stock take 50% longer to upgrade.

Items can be upgraded with the Upgrade button in their use dialogue. Items not in the Mechanic's current stock take 50% longer to upgrade and will not grant Murphy Points.
Some items can only be upgraded while Mechanic Cap is equipped. For a list, see Items#Secret upgraded items.
