Cosmetic is a cosmetic.

Obtaining

Cosmetic is given upon rescuing if the following conditions are met:

No quest or curse is active
No relic or cosmetic is equipped
No leader is selected
The player has at least 200 score^[1] and at least 1 relic^[2]

The terminal file /var/mail/simplicity.txt hints at Cosmetic's unlock conditions, saying that “you might find something nice” by “rescuing with nothing at all”.

Obtaining Cosmetic unlocks the Barebones profile theme.

When rescuing an animal, all words are removed from the animal and item lines, except for the name of the animal and item. For example:^[3]
