The terminal is a computer inside of the Zoo Bot. Inside the terminal are many secret commands. Jokes and nerdy references that you might get. These also include alternative games and also mechanics that help you out in the main game.

This page will be sorted by complicated commands first and then simple. Complicated commands will be found in a separate page.

8ball [question] 8, 8b, eightball Consults the magic 8 ball to answer your questions.
button [press?] It's a button. Counts up since it was first pushed. When pushed again the button resets back to zero.
countxp [amount] Counts XP??? Or something??? Says a unique message based on the number.

When /rank member:@zoo is run on polaris. You'll see a special rank that shows a random number, a random cooldown and a fake error message. When you type the xp into $ countxp you'll earn a special cosmetic called the Polarstar.

cowsay [message] Makes a cow say something Makes the cow say a message. Defaults to "moo".
dunsparce [name 1], [name 2] dun, dunce Generates two dunsparces. May the longest one win! Randomises the length of dunsparces from ~100cm to ~500cm and compares which one is bigger.
penguin [name or id?] peng Posts a random stock penguin. View notable penguins with $ penguin list Posts an image of a penguin. If there isn't a name then it posts a random penguin.

Stop sign penguins: ?, blank, no, ok, oops, stop, yes"

percent [arg1?], [arg2?], [arg3?]... % Rates things from 0-100% Randomises the percentage for a single argument from 0% to 101%.

Randomises the splits the percentage between multiple arguments.

When a argument inside of brackets "()", your name gets replaced with the contents in the brackets.

pet [args?] pat Pets RoboTurt :) Pets roboturt in a server. The total amount of pets in a server is counted. There is a 1 hour cooldown between each pet.
pray Gains you the Praying Beads cosmetic. If you already have it you'll get a response praising someone or a thing.
random [args?] rng Generates every random thing you could possibly ask for Gives you a few random things.
wanted want Initiates the Wanted minigame. Can you find the highlighted animal in time? A minigame that makes you look for a specific animal and then type out the location. This minigame is time limited where if you reach 0 the game is over. This is based on a minigame in the Mario franchise.

inventory [page?] cards, inv, storage Lists the cards currently in your inventory. Gives you a list of every single card you have.
pull card, pul Pulls a trading card! Pulls a card that varies from every common animal, rare animal and leaders. Leaders include special art from many different artists.
show [card] Aliases: search, shc, showcard Shows off a card in your inventory. Shows a card that you have. The amount of the cards is shown there.

murphypoints [amount to spend?] mpoints, mpts, murphypts Welcome to the Murphy Rewards Program! Earn loyalty points by upgrading items at the Mechanic, and exchange them for faster service! Earned by signing up to murphys rewards program. This allows you to earn murphy points by upgrading items. Each one point you spend will remove one minute from your upgrade duration.
node nodejs Highlights some of the beautiful weirdness of the trainwreck known as JavaScript Shows weird javascript stuff.
vim Opens the VIM (VI IMproved) text editor Traps you until you use the :q! command.

There are a total of 6 parts to the password. all scattered throughout the file system. You can search for the password pieces using the "cd" command. nick [nickname?] nickname, setnick Sets a nickname to use in place of your username. [requires admin] Sets your name to a nickname in every instance of a username.
cd [path] chdir, sl Changes the directory of the terminal. Use ".." to go back one directory, or "home" to return to the start. The current folder can be viewed with $ ls Used to navigate the terminal.
dirwarp dwarp Navigates to a random directory. [requires admin] Moves you to a random directory.
help [command?] cmds, commands, h, list Lists most terminal commands, or provides info on a specific one. Shows the list of almost every terminal command and gives detailed information when a command is inputted.
ls dir, gci, pwd Lists all files in the current directory of the terminal. Use $ cd to change folders. Shows your current directory.
neofetch Displays system information. In style. Shows information in a fancy code block.
ping pong Checks if the bot is alive and posts the response time. May not always be 100% accurate. Shows the ping of the bot.
repaircmd [name] repaircommand Attempts to repair any potentially broken or corrupted commands This command is used to repair $ garden.
zoo [subcommand?] z, zo Rescue animals and build up your own personal zoo! Can run any zoo command* with the old command structure like in Robotop.
