Curses are temporary debuffs that inconvenience your game in a way, but can be curable.

There are many different debuffs and many different cures.

Curses can be weakened with the Nazar item or with the Necklace.

Curses

Blindness Rescued animals are no longer revealed. Animal type is revealed. The verb when rescuing an animal is still viewable.
Disobedience Commands and buttons have a 33% chance of not running. Fail chance reduced to 20%.
Distancing Lists now display only 4 animals/items per page. Page size increased to 6. When viewing the zoo online, the list for animals is separated by roughly 7.5 blank lines.
Downtime Zoo commands can only be run when you have no rescue cooldown. Auto-rescues have no effect but are not consumed. Commands can be run if your cooldown is less than 1 hour.
Fogginess Your amount of animals and items are hidden. Rare animal counts are revealed, and animals can be sorted by amount. Your amount of individual fusions are hidden.
Hikikomori Commands and buttons can only be used in DMs. Commands and buttons are allowed in servers with less than 100 members. For the weakened effect, commands and buttons are allowed in server with less than or equal to 100 members.
Invisibility Hides some messages and prevents other members from viewing your zoo. Disables trading, shops, and the stash. Members can view your zoo.
Procrastination Your rescue cooldown is increased by 3 hours. Cooldown increased by 2 hours.
Security A Captcha must be solved before rescuing an animal. Captchas are not required 3 hours after your cooldown expires. You can skip doing the Captcha, but your rescue cooldown will be increased by 30 minutes.

Auto-rescues ignore Curse of Security.

Toxicity Relics and leaders cannot be changed. When rescuing, all effects that reduce your cooldown increase it instead. Rescue effects that normally increase your cooldown reduce it instead, up to two hours. In addition to relics and leaders not being able to be changed, they also cannot be unequipped.
Patience Slash commands can only be run once every two minutes. Slash commands can be run once every minute.

Cures

Capitalist Each purchase from /shop will shorten the curse by 2-4 days. Purchases shorten by +12 hours.
Contagious Remove by trading with a member who doesn't have a curse. The curse will be secretly passed to them, and the duration will be halved. Can only be passed once per member. Luck is slightly increased while the curse is active. For the weakened effect, Luck is increased by 1 if the total Luck is less than or equal to 1.

Even if you switch profiles, if you have already gotten a Contagious Curse, you cannot get the same curse again.

Collaborative Remove by having multiple server members react to a message in a short amount of time. Requires less members the closer the curse is to expiring. Increases time limit and requires 25% less members.
Diverse Allows rare animals to be exchanged for 3 random common animals via /curse. Each rare animal exchanged this way will shorten the curse by 2-4 days. Rare animal is exchanged for 4 common animals.
Exhausting Can be removed at any time. For every 8 remaining hours on your curse, your current rescue cooldown will increase by 1 hour. Increases cooldown by 1 hour for every 10 remaining hours of your curse.
Generous Remove by gifting two of a common animal to another member. Member will get three of whatever animal is traded. (only two are lost)
Persistent 15% chance of being removed upon rescuing an animal. Chance to remove increased to 25%. If Backpack is used, the chance to remove is increased to 100%.
Selfish Remove by having another member give you two of a common animal for free. Only one animal is given away.
Shackled Cannot be removed. Rescue luck is drastically increased while under this curse. Luck bonus is less effective. Under a vanilla Shackled Curse, increases your Luck by 4. Under a weakened Shackled Curse, increases your Luck by 2. If your total Luck is greater than or equal to 2, decrease your total Luck by 1, regardless of whether it's vanilla or weakened.
Viral Each animal you /release will shorten the curse by 1-3 days. Release shorten by +6 hours.

Impossible Curse Combinations

Some curses are completely hard-coded from appearing because they are impossible or very annoying to cure.

Capitalist Curse of Invisibility Capitalist requires you to purchase from shop to cure the curse, but Invisibility prevents you from using the shop.
Generous/Selfish Curse of Hikikomori These curses require you to be in a server so you can give or take animals, but Hikikomori prevents you from using commands in a server.
Generous/Selfish Curse of Invisibility These curses require you to be in a server so you can give or take animals, but Invisibility prevents you from using social commands in a server.
