The 2024 April fools was inspired by the bingo mode inside the Skyblock game mode on the most popular 1.8 Minecraft server, Hypixel. The premise of this entire April fools is about starting again from scratch, and getting as far as possible with all of the changes made to balance the entire game out over 24+ hours.^[1] The event started on April 1st 2024, 00:42 UTC^[2] and will end at April 3rd 2024, 00:00 UTC, two days after it started.^[3]

Changes

There are many major changes in this event, mostly relating to making everything go by faster, that everything should be possible in 24 hours or more.

Rescuing

Rescuing has been changed drastically. The rescue cooldown always lasts 6 minutes without any modification now; The chances of the luck-based rescue effects have been increased; A calendar is always guaranteed at the first rescue; Each rescue also always mentions the rescue cooldown; and some items have been removed from the item pool for being time-wasting or completely useless.
