Effects
50% chance to find a pair when rescuing, 50% chance to find nothing.

The chance to rescue a pair is set to 50%. This overrides the increased pair chance from the Duality leader XP upgrade[1] and—in part— Twin Cherry[2].
The pair chance increases by 6% for each point of luck, maxing out at 80% with 5 luck.[3]

Rescues that don't grant a pair will “fail” and grant no animal. Flavor text is displayed in this format:
🎲 You were about to rescue a [animal], but [reason]. [reaction]
As of April 7, 2024, the following flavor text is possible:

| the RNG had other plans. | What a pity. |
| then you remembered that your ice cream was getting cold. | What a shame. |
| you got a mosquito bite and decided to call it off. | Whoopsie! |
| you got your socks wet and retreated. | Zoinks! |
| you looked away for a second and it despawned. | |
| you tripped on an inconveniently located branch. |
Failing a rescue while a Curse of Blindness is active will grant Visible Confusion.

@colon: dice overrides the extra pair chance
